'California Light: The Watercolors of Rollin Pickford' was published in 1998 by The Press at California State University Fresno. Only 1,200 copies were printed, and the entire edition sold out. The book has been out-of-print for more than fifteen years and can only be found online or at second-hand bookstores, usually in poor condition. The signed copies we sell are in brand new condition and have never belonged to anyone else. They have been stored in total darkness to preserve their vivid colors.

"'California Light: The Watercolors of Rollin Pickford' is more than a monograph on a remarkable artist. It weaves together the stories of a sprawling town, a vanishing landscape and a small group of artists who worked together to create a watercolor style that is unique in American painting. Five essays and interviews explore different facets of the artist’s life and career, his technique, his philosophy and his native land. The first book ever to combine digital photography with six color hexachrome printing, California Light sets a new standard for color fidelity in fine art reproduction.”
